Growing up my dad was constantly taking photos, my first day of school, our trip to Germany, learning how to roller skate— I am so thankful that he documented my childhood, those images are now priceless. Life changes so quickly— the little ones sitting up one week and walking the next, your graduation from high school and then college, you and your partner moving from dating to engaged to newly weds. How would you describe your style?My style is a mix of photojournalistic and traditional. I love capturing candid moments, the authentic smiles, the natural tears, the goofy glances— all the things that make your wedding authentically you. But I also want to make sure that you get the shots you've been waiting for. I want you to have the classic images of you and your partner seeing eachother for the first time, or your first dance, or just a big family photo that your mom will display in her home. I love colorful and bold edits with natural skin tones and lush greens. I want your wedding photos to be as timeless as your love. And I want them to be fun!

Do you travel?Absolutely! I am based in Dallas, Texas but will travel wherever! Travel and lodging fees do apply outside of Dallas.

Do you meet with potential wedding clients before booking?Yes! I do not book any weddings without setting up some sort of meeting first, either in person (Dallas area only) or via Skype. This way we're able to see if we're a good fit as well as go over any important wedding information, such as pricing, contracts, etc.

What are your rates?Coverage starts at $350 an hour. You can take a look at my full pricing here. Since no two weddings are the same, I like to take a more customizable approach to my wedding prices!

Do you offer any discounts?Yes! I offer a 15% off discount for all weekday weddings (Monday-Thursday).

What is your payment schedule?50% of your total balance will be due upon booking, this retainer is non-refundable and reserves your date. The remaining balance can be split into up to 3 installements, the final installment is due 30 days before your event. If you purchase any prints or products after your date I will send you an invoice prior to their delivery.

Can you hold a date for me?I wish I could, but to be fair to everyone I can't hold dates without a signed contract and retainer.

What if I cancel my wedding, is the retainer refundable? "The retainer is non-refundable. Once I receive a retainer I completely block off that day exlusively for you and turn down any other shoots or weddings.

Do you offer engagement sessions?Yes! Not only do I offer them, I highly recommend them! Engagement shoots are a great way to see how my couples interact on their wedding day. We can chat about which poses you find most flattering and natural. I can see if you are more touchy and intimate or more reserved and traditional, all which will create a more seamless and streamlined wedding day experience. Engagement sessions are typically an hour.

What is a first look? Should I have one?A first look is when the couple sees each other before the ceremony. These moments are usually quite intimate with only the couple and the photographer. As a photographer I love first looks for a few reasons. Firstly it really is an emotional moment, I've found that grooms feel like they can be more emotional since it's so private And also it allows for so many more photos! After the first look we can do couples photos before the ceremony. Without a first look everyone typically hides out in their getting ready location so they aren't seen beforehand. That being said, it's totally a personal decision! Seeing each other at the ceremony is definitely more traditional, so if that's what you've envisioned your whole life, do it!

Do I need a second photographer?Second photographers are wonderful if you'd like multiple angles of the same moment. The best example of this for a first look or the wedding processional. A second photographer ensures that each person's face is captured at the exact moment that you see one another for the first time. Those images are incredibly powerful and create a beautiful story. But definitely not a necessity!

Do you offer videography?Not currently, but it's something I'm looking into for future weddings!

Do you retouch every image?All images are individually color graded and edited. Further edits, such as indepth skin retouching or modifications can be purchased for an additional fee.

How long until we get to see our images?Your gallery will be delivered 6-8 weeks after your event. I always send a few of my favorite images as soon as possible to post on social media or share with family because I know how eager my clients are to see their images! A blog post with highlights will usually go live two weeks after the event.

How many images do we receive?This varies greatly from wedding to wedding! Typically around 40-60 an hour, but every wedding is so different, which means that number may fluxuate.

Do you provide albums or canvases?Yes! I do custom albums and prints through a professional lab. All photos do come with a print release, but I've found that clients prefer the one click checkout from their gallery to be much easier!
