Location Spotlight : White Rock Lake

One of my favorite spots to photograph engagement sessions and family sessions is White Rock Lake. It's a gorgeous park with lots of boat docks and tall grass. In Spring there are tons of wild flowers growing all over and in fall it's more of a rustic look with tall grass. White Rock Lake park is the perfect spot for photos because it has a huge variation of backdrops. I only photograph here at sunrise and sunset because the light reflecting off the lake is super harsh during the day time. During sunset you will get a gorgeous golden glow! It's one of my favorite spots for golden hour. If you choose White Rock Lake I recommend bringing some bug spray! White Rock Lake is a gorgeous photoshoot spot and definitely one of my favorites!
