Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Morgan and Joe’s wedding at Dayspring Baptist Church in Waco. Morgan and Joe are probably the most in love couple I have every seen. I left their wedding in complete awe of these two.
From the beginning of the day, Morgan kept telling me how she couldn’t wait to marry Joe, it didn’t matter what she was wearing or what anything looked like, she just wanted to walk down the aisle. “I’ll walk like this!” She laughed pointing at her gym shorts and t-shirt. And I believed her. I thought “dang, this gal is in love love.” And then I met Joe. And I saw how freakin mutual their love was. He was giddy. GIDDY with love. He couldn’t stop smiling every time I mentioned his soon to be wifey. “She looks gorgeous” I told him, “oh I know” he said. And as Morgan walked down the aisle on that perfect, sunny May day, it was like there were no other people in the world. They were so focused on each other, so happy, so in love. It reminded me that this, this is how love should be. Nothing less. Finding that person that loves you so much your heart might explode. Finding someone you love so much you’ll march down the aisle in gym shorts to proclaim your love for them. In a world of fake-ness and inauthenticity, be a Morgan and Joe.
