Sunset Family Photoshoot at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is one of my favorite places to take photos. I love the glowy light, the open fields. It's great because it's so versatile. You can photograph formal families, candid couples, and cute kiddos (see what I did there) all in the same area.

For the Tran family, we played lots of games and gave lots of direction to keep the attention of the Iittle one. And it turned out so well! He had such a great time collecting rock and flowers and doing little prompts. It also helped that mom brought a few pieces of candy and promised a brand new dump truck toy after the session. (Parents take notes!)
